Chicago’s officially kicks off the holiday season with the Magnificent Lights Festival, taking place on Saturday, November 20. While we love a good parade and the electric glow of Christmas lights, the crowd can get as overwhelming as our gift list. Escape the madness at 3PM with Trump’s “Reindeer on the River.” The afternoon promises holiday music, seasonal refreshments created by Executive Chef Frank Brunacci and Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Kosikowski and of course, a couple of reindeer. And as you’re enjoying your warm apple cider, hot chocolate, chestnuts and Oatmeal Scotchie Whoopie Pies, take in the other lights show—fireworks from Navy Pier—starting at 8PM.
